Description

Tim Miller joins Nicolle Wallace to discuss a stunning new reality: Americans are leaving the country at record levels, the U.S. may be facing population decline, and Trump’s “golden age” looks more like national humiliation. From the Qatari jet embarrassment to foreign-backed media consolidation and escalating tensions with Iran, the conversation covers how corruption, chaos, and bad optics are colliding. Plus: brutal new polling that shows majorities questioning Trump’s honesty, competence, and abuse of power. Watch Deadline: White House on MS NOW: https://www.ms.now/deadline-white-house

Lots of people are leaving and lots and lots of tourists aren’t coming and visiting.

Not only are people leaving, educated people are leaving. We have welcomed four doctors from the United States in our fairly small community in Canada. That doesn't count the nurses and practitioners that have also come. We have seen this over the last year.

Phd engineer here. Left in 2016. Never going back. Life is much better now. I'm not just a profit making unit. I'm a human being. I have healthcare, paid time off, sick leave. I can save for retirement. There is no shooting here. Not everything is always about money and profit. The air is clean. My life has much much lower stress. After years of being away, I can admit how insanely stressful to live in the US.

You’re seeing the fall of an empire. Most are destroyed by internal rot.

I would be one of those leaving if it wasn't for my financial situation. So tired of living like this.

Grateful to have moved to New Zealand 20 years ago. Zero regrets but sad watching the US implode from afar. ☹️

Hello from the UK. Left last year. I am not just upset about Trump and his fellow grifters. I am upset with the voters who put him there. What a bunch of short-sighted, unprincipled, willfully ignorant, cruel humans with no critical thinking skills. This is what happens when we get rid of civics education and the fairness doctrine, allow unlimited corporate money in politics, and introduce siloed/biased media via cable news and the internet. Too depressing. We had a good run.

Whatever you think about Trump - 29% thinking he IS honest and trustworthy is just disturbing. It suggest a complete inability to recognize what is real.
