White preacher tears into right wing embrace of white Christian nationalism
Pastor Deese Condemns Hijacking of Christianity by White Nationalist Agendas
Pastor Cody Deese exposes how political agendas corrupt Jesus's teachings, forcing Christians to choose between Trumpism and Christ. Readers gain clarity on how to identify and actively reject rebranded hate masked by claims of faith.
Short Summary
- Identify glaring contradictions in Christian nationalist figures like Charlie Kirk by juxtaposing their public statements.
- Recognize that sanitized, polite racism, often used in contemporary politics, is structurally identical to overt hate.
- Understand that the path of empire, focused on greed and revenge, fundamentally conflicts with the liberation taught by Jesus.
Pastor Deese, drawing from his personal history within conservative evangelical structures, critiques the dangerous merging of Christianity with hate, racism, and white supremacy. This conversation serves as an urgent call to action for believers to reject corrupted theology and reclaim a faith rooted in justice, generosity, and liberation for the oppressed.

I am a white Christian and am so glad this man has told the truth! Very refreshing.
"Equality sounds like opression to them" is really spot on. Kudos to this man.
I am a black man. And when I was a boy, I only knew two white children. I was born in the jim crow, south. These children's father was a Veterinarian. My father was a Pharmacist and his business was close to the veterinarian business. We did not care what color we were. We were just children having fun playing. After my father retired, my sister and I never saw those children again. Going into the military gave me the experience to be around different races of people. The military was not like the south. We had to work together and protect each other like brothers. When I got out of the military, I was back in the same old racism hole again. Nothing had changed but me.
