Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine this past February, members of Congress from both parties and in both houses have nearly uniformly fallen in step with the aggressive posture of offering full military and diplomatic support to Ukraine, no matter the consequences for the Ukrainian people or how long the war drags on. But now 30 members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, including AOC, Pramila Jayapal and Ro Khanna, have sent a mildly worded letter to President Biden suggesting that the United States should pursue a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
