I still think that this was a dry-dock. They built the tunnel system to move water. They used oxen to pump the water out to repair ships, then flood the "swamp" again when finished. Probably no treasure at all, just a tunnel system for water.

One of the measures of the success of the show is the amount of people that don't like it, but continue to watch and can't wait to comment. For me it's all the different people who are involved.

"Earth vaulted bay" pointing to the marsh when you finding layered stones as a wide path in the swamp. When the island might have been 2 islands. And something close by called the dam. Is it because the "bay" has been vaulted?
