Trying to defend the elimination of tens of thousands of innocent people by claiming that your accuser is friends with a handful of them is a whole new level of disingenuous.
As Gideon Levy stated, Israeli defense was based on the “we are the eternal victim and the only victim” card.
The fairness and unfairness of this situation is readily evident to anyone with an unbiased understanding of the history of Palestine since 1917.
It's a wonder he didn't say Kamas is responsible for shuffling his papers.
The fact that Israel has chosen a British lawyer - Malcolm Shaw - to represent it at the ICJ speaks volumes of course. It obviously doesn't tell us truth-knowers anything we haven't known for decades. And Shaw will by definition also be defending USUK's war-crime enablers and accomplices.
