They moved from messages based pricing to usage based pricing and use the API directly in their platform. now its the same cost for us if we use it in v0 or in other platforms.

I've been using v0 for a while for ui prototyping. It's pretty fantastic for that. The preview is super helpful to find random issues or make tweaks on the fly

I asked Claude to spice up the homepage for my side project, and I noticed that the layout it generated is damn near identical for the one it spat out for T3 chat, just different colors. I'm wondering if each of these models kind of has one idea of what a landing page looks like by default, and won't get creative unless pressured to by the user. If that's the case, that's good news for us humans who work in these spaces. They can generate code, but if you want that special touch, you still need humans. That's what I've gathered from working with these tools anyway.

The API key gives them a pipeline into how people are developing, what people are developing, and their progress. Their dashboards are able to see trends in real time

Hi theo. I'm a paid user of t3 chat. And something that I still could have in t3 chat was previews or react components, and html? Do you have any plans for something like that? Preview of the code that is returned could be extremely useful for developers like me.
