This is insane I remember asking my stellar astrophysics lecturer if we could ever detect population III stars last year, and he said maybe but it's highly unlikely for the next few years. Skimming through the first paper I'm so excited because it really does seem possible, even though I'm more of a cosmologist this is so exciting
