Of course The Deep took 5 years to finish college
Cate’s fall to the dark side and losing body parts and having scars, makes her more and more like Darth Vader
My Theory - Cipher has the ability to decode DNA. He was able to see how V effected the scientists blood. Project Odessa was to create a blood control Super. This will change the future of V. No longer will it be random chance. They will be able to choose who becomes Super and what powers they get. This may also be where the Nazi and race supremacy part fits in. Cipher designs the DNA structure desired and the Blood Super controls the V and Blood interaction to create that design safely. This is why he is working them in the danger room. He even asks her if she knows how she controls the blood. I think eventually she may be able to rip people apart at the DNA level. She could restore Cate's power/arm in this way, or strip a Super of their powers also. Imagine Homelander being humbled by becoming normal. AS for Jordan they will probably write off the fights as part of the ranking system power struggle since they are putting so much importance on it this season.
Just so you guys know, Geckos entire power was growing stuff back. That's not just a supe ability. If you remember Black Noirs face and brain never healed even after like 40 years
I wasn't ready for anything that happened in those first 3 episodes. I love the unexpected Ema and Polarity team up.
For losing a major star and part of the season I think they did well giving his character a cool end.
Cipher is Godolkin... you can tell by the way he speaks about the students being soldiers and him being a scientist is just too close for it to just be a coincidence

For what it's worth, they did pretty good in working around the death of Chance. They could have recasted him and then give an excuse that a mimic gave him permanent appearance or something I don't know
Ciphers real power is to drop the sickest freestyles when rapping with his homies at Vought
