Unrelated to this episode at all, but I had an MRI today, and they asked what music I wanted to listen to while in there, and I didn't really want any music, but they were like "It's spotify, so you can request anything." so I said "How about the comedy podcast Distractible?" and they said sure. But then I'm in the tube, and some woman's voice starts being like "Welcome to The Distractables, a podcast about ADHD and ADHD strategies." or something like that. And after like 2 more sentences, I was like "This is going to annoy me so much, I gotta say something." so I squeezed the little thing to let them know I had an issue, and said it was the wrong podcast, and then said the thing I was after had Markiplier and his friends Bob and Wade and the logo is kinda blue, and they got me to repeat "Markiplier" again, but were a bit confused about his name, and I was like "He's a big youtuber." and they said they'd go back to doing MRI stuff and work on it. After 3 ads played, some podcast with Mark and Ethan started playing. It was hard to hear, so I wasn't even able to work out what it was (that's part of why I wanted Distractible; I figured I'd probably know whatever they put on well enough that I'd be able to fill in the gaps mentally of stuff that was hard to hear, 'cause I use it as my background noise in recent times.) I didn't bother complaining, 'cause the bits I could hear were fine, but, like, it was all just weird, and I wanted to tell my weird story.
We got a climate change community note on the video! Let's goooooo
The fact that Mark has seen either Ethan or Baldermort on shrooms is either amazing or hilarious, and I don't know which I prefer.
Watching on yt for a change cuz spotify isn't playing, so glad to have both options!
44:43 How the hell do Mark’s eyes DO that *every* time he freezes, oh my goddddd 🤣
If you are falling asleep while watching this you are a watcher slowly becoming a listener.
Bob and Wade having the moment of saying the exact same sentence verbatim was wonderful. Shiny reminder of their friendship and shared braincell in comedy now and then lol
43:50 “Right dad?!” *Skeleton violently rattling* 😂😂
you can tell Bob was curious about the chocolate, but was playing the cool guy when mark reconnected
As a disabled person, some of the smart fridge stuff is appealing, but the way it’s marketed is always “look at this crazy shit we did!!” And not “this will make disabled people’s lives easier”.
