Desi Lydic's style of interview is so refreshing and smooth. Love how well she and Plaza played off each other during this interview. P.S. Aubrey looked like a million bucks in that suit!
Aubrey Plaza is one of my fav actors. And Desi... I mean they are both so funny and so incredible.
She is a very busy Actress! Talking about 2 movies and a tv series coming out about the same time! Dang
I love how Desi is just completely unfazed by Aubrey‘s weird habits and leans into them, so most of the conversation actually becomes surprisingly normal.
Desi is like the only person who can act natural and ask funny questions of Plaza, this was a great interview.
I think so much of Aubry's deadpan slightly smirking sarcasm comes from not taking most of her interviewers seriously or respecting them, but here she's so level (still a little weird and smirky) because she really does respect and feel comfortable with Desi, so there's less of a guard up. Desi comes off as a really genuine, honest person, and she can be wicked mean too with people she doesn't respect or like in much the same way. It feels like a case of real recognizes real and because they're kinda kindred spirits is why this interview felt so... normal.
Aubrey looks especially amazing here.
First time she seems comfortable and herself on a talk show from what I’ve seen. Praying she grieves well
Just seeing this after the news of her husband. I get strong "John Mulaney on Seth Meyers in 2020" vibes from this, and this was 3 months ago. Love & light to her
