Im a gen z who's been working for 10 years. These examples are individuals with rich parents that don't represent the whole generation.

older millennial here, my parents taught me how to write a resume and they drove me to my job until i could buy my own car. they never spoke to my bosses. but, my dad did do my first ever job application at mcdonalds. he died just 2 weeks later. i got the job. i went to work just a day or two after burying him. i wasn't going to disappoint him. he absolutely was the type to say " ok funerals over, you got responsibilities, work tomorrow, kids can't feed themselves!"

Bring back family businesses. Then kids can grow up working with and learning from their parents and it all makes sense. There can be parents and kids involved in the same workplace in a positive manner.

I can understand a parent helping you write a resume. The modern hiring process is absurd. Itll be easier and you can write up your own when you actually get experience

A combination of inattentive parents and a horrendous school system has produced incompetent workers.

Omg this is nuts. If I was a boss and had this happen... "Is this a medical emergency? No. Ok, is your child over 18? Ok cool I will speak with that adult. Have a nice day."

This is standard practice in rural areas. You do not get a job unless your employer is family or a family friend. The statistics are skewing because the cities are dead.

2:24 We do soooooo many drills to make sure kids know how to.... leave a building, and have so many trouble-maker kids pulling them all the time, that it's engrained into this generation that file alarm means drill or accidental set-off, not fire
