Uncovering the Secret Vatican Files Challenging the Narrative of Pope Pius XII

Discover primary accounts from newly opened Vatican archives that directly challenge the long-held narrative that Pope Pius XII remained silent in the face of Hitler and the Nazi threat. Learn what secret documents reveal about this controversial pontificate.

Short Summary

  • New primary accounts from Vatican archives upend the traditional "silent pope" historical narrative.
  • Historians explore the intense drama between Pope Pius XII and Hitler during the Second World War.
  • Archival research details the severe economic collapse and social despair that fueled the rise of the Nazi party.
  • The findings analyze how activists and historians shape narratives using powerful, non-physical "weapons."

They also tried to smear him as "antisemitic", yet the former PM of Israel Golda Meir,as well as other rabbis in Europe, are on record praising the Pope for all he did in saving jewish lives !

Pius XII is the greatest pope in the past several centuries. In my book, The Godmother, his secretary of 41 years recounts some of his magnificent contributions to humanity.

Cardinal Pacelli (the future Pius XII) was the Papal Legate to the Weimer Republic/Germany. So he knew of Hitler and what sort of person he was. After returning to Rome and Hitler rose to power, Pope Pius XI published the only Catholic Encyclical not written in Latin, "Mit Brennender Sorge" (With Burning Concern) It was a scathing rebuke on Naziism and had to be smuggled into Germany. Though it was published under Pius XI, the author is believed to be Cardinal Pacelli (Pius XII)

Just read a book about his holiness. A Jewish-American historian gave a stirring defense of Pope Pius. I pray he can join the righteous among the nations at Vad Yashem
