Can’t wait to see the magnet fishing episode.
"Its a Noble gas so its probably fine", to one of the worst naturally occuring gasses you can inhale is way to funny
>Ghosts Aren't Real >Treasure Hunting Sucks I'm honestly liking this pattern of titles. It's like someone trying all the stuff they thought sounded cool as a kid and are annoyedly complaining that their kid self lied to them.
I like how not one of them even bothered to glance at the instructions for the metal detectors. Just took them out of the box and started filming. lol
Somewhere there is a metal detector enthusiast throwing a fit over their inexperience
Several mistakes you guys made while metal detecting, and what to improve: - Don’t drag the detector on the ground (grass blades will make the sensor go off randomly) - Not swinging the detector wide enough to the left and right (and swing it slower) - The detector needs to hover barely off the ground - Keep that shovel away from the sensor! - Check the dirt pile you just dug up by swaying your detector left and right over it, not pressing it into the dirt (charlie). - Don’t give up digging your hole so early, most treasures are buried deeper (especially in solid dirt). - Dig a wider hole while also digging deep, the detector isn’t that precise. - Play with the sensitivity on your detector. If you aren’t finding anything, up the sensitivity.
i find the amount of game references they mentioned for an outdoor activity is hilarious
the part where they cant figure out they keep getting hits when they detect near the shovel then cant find anything.
I used to be super into metal detecting. It's pretty defeating spending hours digging around, only to find junk. But there's always that one amazing item that makes the last 10 days detecting worth it. I've found some really cool stuff. A whole bag full of old silver coins, etc.
ex metal detector here, instead of running to your house to hose off what you got, I highly recommend keeping a fanny pack on you that has a small bottle with pipette feature. The bottle can be filled with water and you're able to take it with you. Another tip, pinpointers are your best friends. Instead of relying on the main metal detector, I'd carry a pinpointer with me too so I'm able to get low and actually hone in on what I'm detecting. My farewell advice is that you should always cover your holes up after digging! It probably doesn't matter for your sake because it's your own property, but this is a big ongoing issue within the metal detecting community. Hope you give it another shot and find some treasure! -phoreign64
