Before trump announcement Monday, someone made 520M as insider trading
I've been buying US and stocks from other countries (including China) for over thirty years. All have been sometimes good, sometimes so-so, and sometimes bad. It's always served me and my family very well. "Go where you're treated best" is applicable to where you're invested, as well as other considerations.
Stocks are almost all-time highs so I'd sell also.
Well, this is a good exercise in thinking outside the box which might shock most Americans, and especially resource rich Canadians who are so mentally dependent on US markets that they don't look elsewhere. take care rwmccoy
I love the concept: go where you're treated best
Banking as American in a foreign country has become extremely difficult. Tho I would not renounce my US Citizenship, I understand what drives others to do it.
Berkshire Hathaway is a conglomerate of dozens of companies. Many of these companies operate at a global level, deriving their revenue from many countries outside the USA.
That Yen carry trade is something else, man
