God hand is the kind of game that nobody would ever even think of making today but that's exactly what makes it so special

Customizable attacks and chain attacks is so ultra underrated and probably underused in other games. The freedom of editing your own combos to your own liking like making all heavy attack combo or a infinite juggle combo or a stun focused combo is so good.

Just wanted to point out that the level (1,2,3, and level die) is not a meter that makes you stronger, it actually makes the game harder. So the better you do, the harder the enemies become. It's probably the only game I know of that could say "oh you think you're hot sh*t, then how about this" and then proceeds to beat the ever living sh*t out of you. You can even use roulette moves to grovel to lower the level. It's honestly a genius mechanic that let advanced players to naturally have a more challenging game just by being good at it.

One of the greatest and most underrated games ever made. Really hope Capcom does a remaster to this game one day.
