Description

The Western media continues to portray US-Iranian talks as a means for US President Donald Trump to end the war many portray as a "failure" even as the US continues striking Iran amid a "ceasefire." The worst part about Western reports regarding supposed US "diplomacy" is that the last 26 years alone of US aggression against Iran prove the US uses diplomacy only to further war on its own terms, not to avoid or end it. The US is currently managing similar balancing acts of hostility just below the threshold of all out direct war with both Russia and China. I think is it insidiously sick that the US just cooks up plans on how to take down other countries. Imagine if your neighbor across the street was conspiring to invade your home and move in permanently.

The way I see it, the United States isn't interested in decisively defeating Iran at this stage. The aim was to negatively affect the delivery of fertilizers so that countries in Asia, Africa and South America will be more vulnerable to regime change operations. In addition, Washington hopes that global economic catastrophe will hit BRICS nations harder than the United States. The U.S. bank failures in the recent past suggest that the elite in the United States have already assumed some kind of major economic collapse is coming anyway to the United States. Therefore, the only rational way to try to preserve the U.S. as an empire is to deliberately bring about the collapse at a time of their choosing in the hope that BRICS, still in a developmental stage, will be crushed via internal conflicts occasioned by widespread starvation. The assumption that Iran would respond to attack by interfering with traffic via the Strait of Hormuz was arguably the main reason for the decision to attack Iran.
