Fun Fact: The bullies are a group of songwriters/producers who created hits for NSYNC, Rihanna, Selena, Backstreet Boys and a lot more.
RIP Robbin Harris who played the dad. Comedic legend
Two words.. CLASS ACT!😊
This is arguably the greatest coming of age teen movie ever: Bullying is seen as wack, drinking doesn’t look cool, wholesome dance party, no drugs seen as cool, elderly wealthy black folks protect young black kids from cops, widowed father out all night searching for his son, the greatest dance sequence of all time, young love, safe sex was seen as cool, first amazing rap battle on film, brotherhood through childhood and love of hip hop, etc. I’ve said my part.
Hi guys! That was me. The girl who was dancing with Martin’s character when “Always and Forever” was playing.😂
The Kidd and Play dance is one of the most ICONIC!
Kinda surprised that Jaby didn't notice that the guy named "Clinton X" is "Russell" from "Living Single", the guy he hates so much 😂
I love that the three bullies are actually three, buff, r&b singers(Full Force) in real life lol. The song they're doing the dance-off to is literally their song, "Ain"t My Type of Hype" 😆...
The burglars running away from the dog are actually Reginald and Warrington Hudlin director and producer of that movie.
45:33 remember on Martin when Kid danced with Sheneneh, she said "Kid? can you kiss me. . .just like you did that little lightskinned girl in House Party?" this is the moment.
