"If you give bad reviews to things you don't like, they won't make more of it!" _Good._

There's never been a truer case of "A writer cannot write characters smarter than themselves".

"Star Trek was too sciencey, too techy" I beg your BIGGEST fucking pardon??? What the FUCK!?!? *Edit: Wow, thanks for the likes and for the comments!! This tells me that there are, as of now, a minimum of 858 people that can agree that Star Trek was SPECIFICALLY supposed to be fantastic sciece and tech mixed with fantasy elements (strange new life, worlds) that had a good writing and a fun plot. What I personally believe is that, aside from the writing in previous Treks, the base understanding was that it gave a sense of *hope* to what we COULD be, if we got our collective heads out of our asses and unified as a species, dedicating ourselves to the best possible outcome of what humanity could be in some possible future. Hell, some of our tech, such as iPads, wearable technology, and even some careers, were all inspired by Star Trek. The Burn was THE MOST IDIOTIC THING that could have ever happened to Star Trek, and this series has no good basis to impact our species in the positive ways that previous Treks have, except maybe having Gen Z and younger embracing holographic feelings and legalizing sentience. Idk, shit is weird/ not Trek. I'm coping, lol. 🖖🏼
