Disney trying to find a soul is like Rey trying to find a personality

I love how these remakes are called “live-action” when they’re like 95 percent CGI. So basically, “let’s remake an animated classic with a worse animated film.”

I’m 22 years old, and I never thought I’d turn into a grumpy old man hating most modern films, but here I am. Edit: If I have to hear one more 17 year old or younger comment some stupid shit like, “I’m X years old and I feel the same way.” I’m gonna lose my mind.

I loved the part where Ariel said ‘Go away now’. Truly inspiring.

The Princess and the frog was primarily hand drawn, showed the value of hard work and the black character wasn’t artificially wedged in at all. Disney needs to remember how to make movies like that.

Everyone: “So are you ever gonna do any hand drawn films again?” Disney: “No.” 🙂

My daughter's little friend, whom happens to be black-and I'm only mentioning that because it's relevant, saw The Little Mermaid remake and said "why did they change Ariel and her pretty hair?" .. they noticed the hair, not the skin.. and no female empowerment or race discussion just "what happened to Ariel, why did they change her?" Exactly.. the groups they're trying to Pander to don't even like it
