Weight training helped all my heat flashes. I had my 5th baby at 42, started perimenapausal symptoms at 43 and ended menopause at 56. What you eat makes a huge difference, no sugar, food with preservatives or chemicals. Weight training helped as well. Weight training eliminated any of hot flashes. I have always worked out daily, varied my workouts and I found that more weight training eliminated hot flashes. I eat very clean, natural, dont drink or smoke, don't buy anything boxed bagged or frozen. I have never taken anything with chemicals and am very homeopathic. My doctor did not prescribe anything for me and encouraged me to continue with a natural lifestyle.

Stopped having my period at 53. I am now 60. Hot flashes were almost non-existent and when they did occur, they were extremely mild. I am not on HRT and I really have no issues. I did go through two frozen shoulders in my late 40s but they both resolved after several months with no lingering issues and full range of motion. I didn't go to the doctor for them, which I think is key, actually. I work out on a mini trampoline. I love it and it's one of the best things ever for your body.

I went through menopause at 50, suffered from terrible hot flashes for 10 years, and mild ones after that, started HRT at 65, can’t believe I suffered for all those years for no reason!

I got rid of all off my symptoms by doing a 21 day cleanse, changing my exercise routine, and adding wild yam cream. HRT should be a last resort, which I was willing to take if the cleanse didn’t work. Carbs will cause SO many problems in menopause. Limit to one meal a day and eat it with protein. Jump on a rebounder for 10 minutes a day, add HIIT and strength training - walk 10 minutes after every meal. Remove sugar and processed foods.

HRT has saved me. No more anxiety, frozen shoulder, sleepless nights, and hot flashes. I am glad for educational podcasts such as these. Awareness needs to be spread.

Every time I tried hormone therapy I ended up getting breast cysts. As soon as I went off they went away. My mom said she had the same problem. I have done without it and am doing fine!!

I started HRT at 52, best thing ever. I also use a testosterone cream, I feel like myself again. I also include NAD+ and arsenal of supplements. It all helps 😊

Thankfully, I sailed through menopause with no hot flashes. Same with my sister.
