In Australia you vote without showing ID. We have never had a problem. Then again, we have never had a Trump

It is mighty rich for someone who has mostly voted by mail his entire voting life, is now trying to get rid of it now that he knows he will lose his power.

The federal government already has the paper trail on anyone that has changed their name. All the documentation is required every time you file to change your name on your social security card. Forcing people to provide a paper trail that the government already has access to is not voter protection. It's voter suppression.

I expect this to die in the senate. If for whatever reason it doesn’t die in the senate, I hope someone takes it to court and makes the argument that knowingly and purposefully proposing and advocating for a measure that increases disenfranchisement is an example of election fraud.
