Everyone misses the big gap with home ownership rate... sure its only slightly lower but thats with dual incomes. Way more homes in previous generations were single income. The fact that despite dual incomes being the vast majority of home ownership now rates still went slightly down speaks to how much less affordable it is. Single people specifically are screwed.

But rewatching the video where that happened yesterday, it isn't as clear as Destiny makes it sound that he "walked it back." It is more he just didn't mention it again and said he didn't actually read any of it.

The reason many conservatives like me especially moderate conservatives respect destiny is cause he approaches each topic honestly and isnt afraid to go against the narrative even if he catches flack for it. That will always earn you some good faith with conservatives and they will be much more open to hearing you out. They cant stand people who no matter what repeat the parties talking points and wont challenge anything.
