I think one thing about Brunsons finals performance that seems to be underrated: his hustle on defence. Hey not a great defender but he was putting in effort and redirecting his man consistently.

Brunson has great fundamentals that's why he has so much counters against taller defenses. People praise Kobe and Mj for their athleticism but it's their mastery of the fundamentals that took them over the top

What these guys are missing in the Brunson vs Wemby conversation is leadership and maturity. Those things matter and Brunson has them in spades while Wemby needs to do a lot of work in those areas.
