We need to ban private prisons, period.
Anything that Devastates a Trump scheme is aces in my book!!! I want more of it there can’t be enough
Are detained individuals able to sue the private prisons themselves instead of just fighting the government? Or are the private prisons untouchable?
They are not only be detained they are being punished and harmed? Why? These are not criminals.
It hard to believe so many people do not care about other people.
These private detention camps and prisons are the only jobs trump has created. He really is our Hitler.
Note that the Republicans blocked the Biden Congress' move to fund more immigration courts and judges, because of the then-overload and backlog of the courts now handling the additional cases these detentions raise. "They can call on the courts if they are mistreated, wrongly detained, or have a reasonable case for asylum/citizenship application" is sickening when access to lawyers is made very difficult and the courts have huge backlogs.
It’s so sad that we have fallen on the state’s to defend.
We live in a country that no longer has humanity. It's a very sad times for America.
They should also highly tax the private prisons. The only problem I have with this is that it gives an incentive for the state to keep allowing the existence of these facilities.
