If you listen to the podcast '5-4', you'll know that the Supreme Court always does this. They take a few half measures before going all the way. Birthright citizenship being safe for now isn't good news. The Justices who voted for it should be impeached for trying to change the constitution without anyone voting for an amendment. They shouldn't be allowed to build a road map for repealing it without an amendment

Well... I attended law school during the Rhenquist Court, and we knew he was a Republican political operative. So, coming up on 40 years of no respecting the Court has seen no reversal (and even no slowing) so far.
