We need him in the eventual Jon Jones biopic
Did not know he was a NOLA Boy too!!! And spitting that Jubilee caught me off guard!!! Wow!!! This is another Pivot Classic interview!!! Thank you for this!!!
I would love to be a fly on the wall for a convo between him and Aldis. Gems all day long
I'm a recently retired New York City firefighter and I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Yahya during a theater inspection I was doing when he was performing in the Broadway play "Top Dog/Under Dog". I approached him and told him that I'm a comic book nerd and how I really loved his performance in "Watchmen". He was very gracious, down-to-earth, and engaging. It was a real pleasure for me to meet and speak with him. I'm looking forward to the day when he wins an Oscar for Best Actor.
Aww! My Dad used to call me Bug, short for ladybug because of my eyes he said. Miss him everyday...
May God continue to bless you all! ❤❤❤
What part of this convo impacted you most?⬇️
37:19 “Oh wow. I’ve spent a long time, a very long time, trying to fill the void that he left. I’ll never be able to do it.” That really hit home! I salute and thank you all for having these impactful conversations.
Please bring Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors onto a show!
I remember Yahya’s first day of school 8th grade at Lowell Middle School and he fasho sat in the back of the class quiet with a nervous like smile while his twin sisters stood watching. We were teammates and good friends. He was a great person then, he’s an amazing man and inspiration today. Forever proud of you Yahya 💯- BJ
