Attorney Harry Daniels says Long was trying to get back into the courtroom, was pepper sprayed, and then struck back after the deputy attacked him. Daniels says Long now has permanent scarring in his eyes, impaired vision, and may lose the livelihood he built as a commercial truck driver.
