Maybe I wasn’t paying attention, but it seems that recently (last few years) the effects of ultra strong magnetic fields have been observed or postulated in more and more studies. Accounting for magnet fields as well as gravity must have complicated our attempts to build models that explain our observations.
If Sagittarius A is mixing all the dust in the center of our Galaxy then maybe we could call our home "The Milkshake Galaxy?"
Thank you for all the years of dedication to this channel Anton, I learned so much from you and i really appreciate that! Have a Merry Christmas and best wish for 2026.
Given the outflow of an enormous hot wind from Sag A*, don't we expect to detect Fast Attenuated Radio Transmissions as well? Great video! It's fascinating that we are still finding entirely new structures and processes in the CMZ. Nature is amazing.
Man... Hubble got the ball rolling, but JWST pretty much reminds us that we've just been making guesses til now, and know juuussst a little more than nothing.
I'm on the outside looking in but it seems the JWST has breathed new life into the field of astrophysics. That new info from around Sag. A* is amazing and totally new to me.
Hello Anton, thank you for my daily dose of goodness and brain pats. Even if I have the worst day imaginable, I always know there will be a video from you which will take me from any harsh reality into the wonders of our world and universe and I really am glad for it. Thank you and have a wonderful holidays (if you have ones) sending love from Czechia ❤
Hey Anton. I just wanted to thank you very much. I started to watch your videos when I was 12 about astrophysics and it hooked me ever since. Today I’m studying astronomy in Vienna and will soon finish my bachelor. Your videos gave me so much hope and Energy over the years and one of my best memories where when I watched your videos late at school nights in Universe sandbox. So thank you very much for the stuff that you are doing!!!
Anton you are the original Wonderful Person
