Hi Emily! To clarify the mandated reporter thing, mandated reporters only report on abuse of children, older adults, or adults who are considered vulnerable (mental or physical impairment). You don’t report abuse for non vulnerable adults unless they consent. I’ve had so many people admit abuse to me that I couldn’t do anything about because they did not want it disclosed. Hope that helps answer that question!
When AH came forward, JD was basically cancelled and her career took off. The “backlash” came when JD started fighting back and AH’s story began falling apart.
Amber: "Look at me when I came forward." Yeah...as Emily said, L'Oreal endorsement, bigger movie parts, magazines(publicity) and you were CELEBRATED as a survivor and as someone who had the courage to speak out against their abuser. I find it odd...odd isn't the right wording either....but JD was 'punished/shunned' for 6 years...and You(Amber) haven't been able to go 2 WEEKS without looking for sympathy and trying to spin this and blame everyone else for your current situation.
I have been on a jury in England on a SA case and we took everything seriously. We didn’t look at any media or social media. All we wanted to do at the end of the day was go home and wash of the dirt of what we had heard. It is really insulting that she comes out with the BS against the jury.
Camille: "This is a woman who burns bridges." UnCivilLaw: "Which is unfortunate because, as a troll, she needs to live under them"
It took me almost getting murdered at 8 months pregnant before the police would believe me and do something. I have a lifetime P.O. against him as well as he went to prison, but thanks to the women out there like Amber Heard, it almost got me and my son killed before they believed me... 👍 Johnny, YOU were the victim and we always believed YOU. ❤️
“When all the lawyers agree, FUCKING RUN” we need that on a mug
I agree, I don't think she was over-coached. I think there was no way for her lawyers to shut down her actual [disordered] personality.
There is a stark contrast between JD’s re-enactments and AH - he describes the incident as the non-aggressor which matched his expressions she described being the victim while showing the expressions of the attacker
As someone who watched the ENTIRE trial and all of the Lawtok videos, this made me so upset to see NBC spin this narrative and allow her to further speculate
