Over the last few months im sure youve seen the reports that Warner Brothers is up for sale and currently the company is looking for buyers. Because of this I’m actually quite worried about the future of the DCU and it feels almost like Groundhog day. In a recent interview with Boba Talks…who by the way…great youtuber mate…go check him out. Gunn said words to the effect of there being some uncertainty whether hes the person who will be carrying out the plan after Man of Tomorrow. He basically said he has plans but that someone else might be carrying on with them. This coupled with industry rumours made it seem like there may be some doubts behind the scenes. Now the current DC Universe has been under the control of James Gunn and Peter Safran since 2022. Though several movies were still waiting to be released Gun announced a new phase one titled Gods and Monsters. This had some loose ties to the previous universe but we’d be getting a new Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. There’d also be more of the side characters involved and stuff like the Green Lantern corp being included in the vision.
