I’ve seen Sarah’s death scene 50+ times over the years and somehow Pedro’s delivery of “Help me Tommy” still hit me right in the gut.
Watching the first episode as a person that played the game with my friend who didn't was definitely a hilarious yet tragic experience
The fungus thing they talked about in the intro is a real thing. There are fungus out there who do control insects and make them into almost a zombie-like creature controlling them and spreading the infection from one insect to another
I felt so much dread when you guys relaxed after tommy shot the soldier I was like IT GETS WAY WORSE GUYS
I love this perspective of the episodes. John and Tara are blind going into these episodes. While Greg and Andrew have knowledge from the games. Awesome job to all.
Fun fact: on the TV we hear something happening in Jakarta. Jakarta is home to the biggest mill factory which makes flour… Sarah and Joel are out of flour for the pancakes, then they decline to eat the neighbors biscuits, later Sarah doesn’t eat the cookies cause she finds out they have raisins and not chocolate chips… and finally JOEL FORGOT THE CAKE! The fungus was in the Flour! And they coulda been infected if they ate any one of those things during the day… thought that was a pretty cool detail
