Great interview from the Pat McAfee show, Crosby has been one of the best players to play the game, he saved Pittsburgh hockey, he raised viewership of the NHL, and he is still the face of the NHL. Crosby has done a lot for young kids to play the game, he has bought equipment for kids to be able to play. Crosby is still humble and remembers where he came from.

Years ago during the Christmas break, there was a young hockey player training on the outdoor rink very early in the morning in my hometown. An suv showed up and Crosby stepped out, put on his skates and proceeded to play and train with that young man. I can't imagine how pumped that kid must've felt. They took pictures and it ended up in our local newspaper.
