oh geez, it finally happened. I get to watch my favorite reaction channel watch something I actually worked on. 😲

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart formed a friendship since this film came out and have been best friends ever since. Dwayne Johnson wears a fanny pack throughout the movie and the film makes multiple comedic references to it. This is a reference to a popular meme, which shows Johnson wearing a fanny pack in the '90s Dwayne Johnson gives three nods to Bruce Lee: yellow and black sneakers, a famous Lee pose, and a one inch punch

this was the start of one of the most iconic duos.the first thing they ever did together! i love this movie! its so fun!

I had a friend who was bullied relentlessly in elementary school and I was the only one who stood up for him. We watched this film after reuniting decades later and it actually was a pretty heartfelt moment.

saw an interesting analysis that this movie played to dwayne johnson’s strengths and allowed kevin hart to display a peek of a side we hadn’t yet seen. both were strong performances for this specific movie, would feel weird elsewhere.

Fun fact…I was an extra in this movie. There was a 5-6 year period where a ton of movies were being filmed in Boston due to a tax credit studios got for filming there. Equalizer and American Hustle are two other movies that filmed in Boston around that timeframe

I forgot Melissa was in this, she did look beautiful at the end.
