It’s insane to me refs aren’t held accountable AT ALL, like they could make the worst call in the world & all they have to do is just go home & not care anymore lmao while players/coaches have to sit in front of the media & answer questions win or lose whether they just got into a fight, dropped the game winning touchdown, lost a family member etc 😭

They need to mic up the refs so there can be some transparency at least. Any refusal to mic up refs is an immediate red flag that something is trying to be hidden.

Imagine if refs were questioned at the end of games in a press conference? Must watch TV.

The sad thing is that there’s about a dozen different ways the NFL could improve officiating and they refuse to do even the easiest of those things. Give the refs the ability to take the time to get it right. Who cares if it adds 10 minutes to the game. Run a few more commercials and it’ll pay for itself. It makes zero sense not to do it? Who loses here? That’s where the conspiracies come in.
