The world is not entitled to the American dream.
So he fled his country because he feared for his safety from political persecution by his government but was instead "saved" and welcomed back with open arms by the very government that he feared persecution from? Sounds like somebody was lying and only wanted to flee economic hardship which is not a legal qualification for asylum.
I think I speak for a lot of US citizens, WE DON'T GIVE A SH*T ANYMORE, fix your country or don't. The world and life is not fair, deal with it!
