This was an uneven film but I genuinely love the bleak ending.
To be fair, the word daddy only seems weird as an adult because in the last two decades it become a sexual term for adults. Before the 2000s, no one thought daddy was weird to call your dad as an adult. Just like how people now find the word moist to be awful and weird.
Gotta admit even though a lot of people didn't like this one, the ending on this really got me back when it came out, and I actually kinda liked it.
Edward Furlong was originally supposed to reprise his role as John Connor. However, in December 2001, it was reported that he had been dropped from the film, allegedly due to a substance abuse problem.
This movie will always have a very special place in my heart. My old man was a huge terminator fan. When he found out about the third one finally coming out, we bought tickets as soon as they were available and went to see it in theaters twice. I'll never forget how happy my old man was to revisit this franchise after so long , especially since he passed away a few weeks later.
The studios had long wanted to make a sequel to the previous Terminator films, but for a long time Arnold Schwarzenegger refused to do it unless James Cameron was directing. Cameron eventually told his friend to "just do it and ask for a shit-load of money," reasoning that the character was as much Schwarzenegger's as it was his. Schwarzenegger confirmed this in a talk-show interview, saying that when he asked, Cameron told him to "take the money and run".
Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator shoving a nuke battery into T-X's mouth to explode is pure unadulterated awesomeness.
you've got to be kidding me that character / psychiatrist this is his 3rd Terminator movie

The ending of this movie is great and I really appreciate how bleak it was at the end with John finally accepting his role.
