Great video on medieval torture with a brief reference to black holes 🤣 love you guys and your work!
I could listen to NDT talk all day. He has a way of injecting his enthusiasm into any topic and breaking things down simply enough to understand without sounding condescending.
Neil and Chuck , best science communication duo of all time !
Buy Neil's book 'Death by Black Hole': https://amzn.to/3Auc712
It’s mind blowing physics can predict something so horrifying, so precisely. 🤯
Great show, as always! In English schools, we were taught about our ancestor’s propensity to ‘hang, draw and quarter’ their prisoners. There were no horses involved though, it simply referred to being cut open vertically and horizontally whilst hanging from the ceiling. I think I would much prefer spaghettification! Cheers 😃
Gotta love how Neil & Chuck stretched the heck out of that explanation of falling into a Black Hole! 👍👍
What a macabre review of the middle ages and witch craze! (The good ol' days!!) Chuck Nice's reaction of horror at 9:10 was so apropos. What I wanna know is...how would gravity have been experienced during the Hadean, when the Moon was ten times closer to Earth and whizzing around it once every 84 hours (instead of 30 days),...AND an Earth day was only 6 hours!
When a warp engine folds time/space, I propose we call that Taco-fication of time/space.
Could you post that poem separately? That’s a good one.
