normally I wouldnt sit thru 3 hours of this but your videos are so beautifully filmed, and your food tours are bliss.
Mark, not sure if you will ever see this but I have to tell you. I was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer in 2024. I had 25% of my tongue removed. Then I had radiation and chemotherapy. Long story short I cannot taste food. So I began watching cooking shows. Then I started watching food reviews and found your youtube channel. I have been hooked on your channel for all of 2025 and now into 2026. You and your channel stand out to me so much. The way you show the preparation, explain the regional ingredients, the culture, etc. Its the best I've seen. THEN, the way you eat and explain the flavors. Your passion and the way you say, Oh Wow! And your HO, HO, HO, laugh is the best! They way you describe the flavors and textures of the food is the next best thing to me being able to taste food again. And the size of the bites you take just cracks me up. I"m like, I could barely take 1/3 of that bite. Its remarkable. Also love that you stay so healthy and eat great foods and exercise and keep in shape. So keep up the good work. I love all of your videos. Maybe someday my taste will return and we can have a meal together. :-) Until then, I will be watching you and remembering what it was like to taste all of the great flavors of diverse foods.
