Remember the ANZACS. Lest we forget.
The booing that occurred at several Anzac Day ceremonies is a clear indication that many do not accept that Welcome to Australia is appropriate on Australia's most sacred day
It should be a thank you for saving our country.
I didn’t serve this country for over thirty years to see a so called First Nations Elder, in a baseball cap inflating his ego. The one day of the year where politics has no place. An absolute disgrace.
I was born in Australia 71 years ago . I'm Australian , always was always will be. I'm a proud Kalgoorlie boy who happens to be coloured white and proudly stands up for my great country. Thank you very much..
Anzac Day is remembering all AUSTRALIANS and NEW ZEALANDERS - who give or gave there lives for there country - not for one race but for all - we are all Australians
As an Australian Veteran, YES, Well said. ❤
The way to fix the “welcome to the country” problem is simply to demand that it is NOT a paid position and no money will be handed over to the indigenous “welcomer” or uncle or auntie who volunteer their time.
When my family get home to our house, I don't say Welcome to my house, I say welcome back home.
I went bush for work recently and an aboriginal elder I asked them if they would like to do a welcome to country and he said it’s not necessary “it’s city folks made up words” ❤
