A recent Turning Point USA's event with JD Vance in Georgia featured very low attendance (the venue was reportedly three-quarters empty) to the point that Erika Kirk pulled out citing transparently phony security threats as her excuse. Candace Owens is quoted accusing Kirk of lying about the reasons for canceling and of faking an AI-generated audio of Charlie Kirk appointing her as CEO before his death. Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger note that JD Vance defended Kirk, claiming he was with her as they loaded Charlie's body onto Air Force Two, but critics call this gaslighting and demand answers about her whereabouts before his death. They conclude that the public sees through Kirk's "grieving widow act" and that she is surrounded by deep state assets who wanted Charlie gone.
