For what it's worth......I noticed when he talked about his experiences in the film business, he covered his mouth with his hands, a clear body language signal of shame and remorse. But when he talked about his faith and scripture, he dropped his hands away from his mouth and smiled with expressions of joy and love right from his heart. This guy came out of pure hell into the light.
"What stays in the dark grows" That is a powerful statement
It's crazy how universal the correlation is between not having a good relationship with your father and living a screwed-up life.

When I was holding my first son and he was 3 months old, the Holy Spirit came into my heart and what I heard God tell me is exactly as Joshua described. I didn't believe in God, but thought I'd give it a shot, and I heard God say, "Look at your son. Think of how much you love him. That's how much I love you, but even more." Praise God, and thank you Joshua for such a powerful and vulnerable testimony of redemption and God's grace and love. Amen!
Shawn I really thank you for having him on. As someone who has battled porn addiction off and on for almost 40 years, his testimony has made a impact on me more then anyone. It has restored my faith and my walk with Christ. This may not have happened had you not has him on. He was the perfect man for me to listen to. Man I wish I could thank both you in person. This means everything to me. You have no idea as I was in a really dark place a week ago

When I was in college, Josh let me and my buddy work out at his cross-fit gym for free in North Carolina. After a workout one night, he told us his story on how he became a believer. He said his girlfriend (now wife) got him to come to church, and after coming clean about his past she said “What kind of Christian would I be if I judged you for your past.” Incredibly impactful to me, and forever grateful for his story!
The lady at the bank was an angel. She saved him. ❤
