I’m Kelsey’s older sister, thank you for covering her story.
I used to consume a lot of true crime content when I was younger. The older I get, the harder it is to stomach so many murders and horrible cases. i think Kendall is the ONLY TC channel I can watch anymore. She's the only one who makes these feel more like a victim advocate story than just a story for shock value, like 99% of the TC content on youtube.
Ladies never let them take you to a second location. If they point a gun at you just scream and let the chips fall where they may. It’s better to be shot then and there.
I went to school with Kelsey. I wasn't close with her, but we kinda ran in the same crowd. She was a super sweet girl, always had a smile on her face. She deserved so much better than this. RIP Kelsey.
The fact he said he was looking for a victim... Makes me wonder how many others there have been
"privacy concerns" as Verizon sells my data and manages to get me hundreds of spam calls a week 🤦🏼♀️
Cases like these are why i quickly lock my car doors when i get into my car while im out alone.
I have thought about this case often over the years because it happened in the middle of the day, in the middle of a busy parking lot. You’d think a woman would be safe under those conditions, but no. I’m so sorry for her and her family.
I saw a tiktok about this case recently and someone commented, “this is an old case.” Like huh? So??? So we can’t talk about it anymore??? We should continue to speak about these cases and make sure these victims are not forgotten and learn from their case.
I used to be an investigator in my department’s Missing Persons Unit and I cannot even quantify the number of times the Kelsey Smith Act has been pivotal in locating critical missing persons. Such an amazing thing for her parents to have done to help countless people in this country.
