Months before the pandemic was declared, I read a journalist's article about 2 US diplomats who had toured the Wuhan viral lab, and had written a report stating that the quarantine standards at the facility were very sketchy. My immediate thought was, "Why was the Chinese government allowing US diplomats into their virology facility?" Later, when the suspicions were floated about the virus coming from the Wuhan facility, I thought about that article.
