“I don’t want some cash grabby second movie.” A rare quote you’d ever hear from Disney nowadays.
Ryan, we can’t take away the darkness you’re in, but we’re thinking of you. Take all the time you need.
0:16 I’m pretty sure Jack does a ton of work throughout the year. The great annual extravaganza takes a ton of legwork behind the scenes (see how quickly the mayor falls to pieces when Jack isn’t available to help with the planning work).
One thing I’ve noticed on my last couple revisits is while Jack fell in love with the idea of Christmas his own touches to it are way more in line with Halloween. While that part’s obvious I think it just goes to show where his heart truly lies. He was less so trying to recreate Christmas and more so trying to subconsciously spice up Halloween and get over his creative block, which I think plays into Sally’s role with the theme of what he truly needed/wanted being with him all along
