Idk if they notice it any point but the reason the game seems so slow and like a walking sim at first is because your first 4 matches are on essentially “bubble blowing baby” mode, says so on the deploy screen. Probably a bad move by Embark because reading is hard for people and they’ll just think the game is boring.

What's really cool with the enemies (arc) in this game is that they learn moving and flying during the game (AI). If you shoot the wings of a drone it will try to learn flying again in real time which is why they move so unpredictably. The spider like robots have physics on each leg and try to work around terrain, if you shoot one of it's legs it learns moving without that one. They also observe player behavior and adapt accordingly.

1:51:51 Charlie missing that Lv.4 Ferro hurt my soul 💀 He would’ve absolutely loved that. Just a Lv.3 has quick reload speed, for faster shooting.
