Narcissism...it all starts with narcissism. If it isn't squelched by the parents when the kids are young, it turns people into petulant monsters who rip at civilized society later on.
I keep hearing about "fair" and "I deserve"; these concepts are used to emotionally manipulate us.
Our greatest spiritual dangers come not from obvious evil, but from good intentions systemically corrupted.
Socialism isn't about making everyone rich. It's about making everyone equally poor... Except politicians.
"People vote with their hearts." This is why we were never meant to be a democracy.
Mothers are supposed to help children understand their emotions. Fathers are supposed to teach children to control their emotions.
They claim empathy for illegal aliens that they conflate as immigrants, people with gender dysphoria that they claim are the opposite sex, and rioters that they call protestors without knowing the definition of empathy. We need sympathy in society, but empathy means that you have experienced the circumstances, too, which is self-deception. I hope there is far less empathy because I don't want them to experience it. It's much like how Steven slipped up and said that they are concerned about our republic. They are not concerned about our republic. They don't even use that term. They are concerned about our democracy... when what they are actually concerned about is our lack of as much socialism as they want because they are so "empathetic" for others.
The philosophy of "No one can be better than me at anything ever" doesn't leave room for a lot of actual progress. It just knocks everyone down a few pegs.
Half the country was educated on how to think, and the other half was educated on what to think. Not everyone has critical thinking skills. Those with critical thinking skills will mostly be on one side. The rest will fall into one side or the other, and won't question the things they are told.
A lifetime observation; Not all selfish people are lazy but all lazy people I've known have also been very selfish.
