BREAKING: Brazilian Army Captures Live Alien From UFO Crash (ft. James Fox)

I’m a physician with an undergraduate major in chemistry. I suspect these creatures may be obligate anaerobes that use sulfur instead of oxygen, as we do, for oxidative phosphorylation (“respiration”). Both oxygen and sulfur occupy the same group in the periodic table. We require oxygen as the terminal electron acceptor in the mitochondrial cytochromes, but they may use sulfur for the same purpose to generate high-energy cellular phosphates. If so, they might produce hydrogen sulfide rather than water, as we do, as a metabolic byproduct. Organisms like this exist on Earth, but they lack the enzymatic systems needed to reach our level of biological complexity. If this were true, the oxygen in our atmosphere would likely be relatively toxic to them, and they might become ill after prolonged exposure here. This is, of course, just a theory. (By the way, many organisms with sulfur-based respiration are found the the thermal vents in the deep parts of our oceans!)

Imagine the awfulness of knowing everything has gone bad, the worst has happened- the ship is gone, and now you are trapped on a planet that you know you cannot survive on. You have only a limited time to live as humans cannot know how to keep you alive. Terrifying. The secrets kept away from us by world governments, the US military in particular, must be astounding. Remember- they don’t just have the Varginha craft & bodies- they have dozens of craft from recoveries over the past century.

The number of times James gets teary while he talks about all of it shows how much of his heart is all about this topic, mad respect to the man.
