Interestingly, Baraa dropped a new video on Databricks the exact same hour today 😂
Okay but the part this video does not say out loud is that how you ingest data into Databricks matters a lot less than what state that data is in before it ever touches the platform. The work keeps teaching us at Lifewood across the data pipelines we run globally that teams spend weeks debugging Databricks workflows that were never actually a Databricks problem — the issue was upstream in how the source data was structured, labeled, or validated before ingestion. Getting the S3 connection right is the easy part. Getting clean, consistently formatted, annotation-ready data flowing through that connection is where the real engineering discipline lives. Solid foundation video for anyone building this out for the first time.
Thanks 🙏🏻

This is amazing! The short form is absolutely needed
Excited for the data engineering content!
The new era of Alex does AI begins!
Thanks Alex.
Thank you and waiting for the next lesson.
Just got a job as a data engineer. Looking forward to this series!
