If you want to bring down HC costs, you need to do something about brands determining their expiration dates, which forces hospitals to dispose of products even though the product still performs the main function...even band-aids have a 1-2year expiration date. Also, force hospitals to charge the replacement cost of the supplies used, not the inflated prices they currently do.
