How The Right Moves Forward
Restoring Order: Rules for a Safe Marketplace of Ideas After Political Violence
Understand why the traditional "free marketplace of ideas" fails when violence escalates. Restoring civil dialogue demands enforceable rules and consequences, not just calls for more openness.
Short Summary
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk exposed the political left’s refusal to abide by the theoretical rules of the free marketplace of ideas.
- Pure freedom requires prerequisite order and discipline; society must actively circumscribe dangerous, violence-inducing delusions.
- The corrective path involves enforcing social standards, applying appropriate ostracism, and prioritizing foundational order over unchecked, modern openness.
This analysis dissects the immediate fallout from a fatal political attack, arguing that immediate calls for increased speech are misguided given the context. The path forward requires imposing structure, clarity, and consequences to ensure safety in public exchange.

My dad had to fire a good amount of people from his work because they posted online, celebrating Charlie’s death. Those people who were fired were full on adults, at least over the age of 25. I’m 15 and even I know the difference between right and wrong. Cheering for someone’s death, regardless of their political stance, isn’t even wrong, it’s straight evil. God bless everyone and just know that God loves you no matter what!
We’re called the right for a reason. With Charlie gone, we won’t stop. We will keep moving in the *right* direction.
THE GOVERNOR OF UTAH, REP., MADE A STATEMENT TODAY THAT IN TWO DAYS THERE WAS NO RIOTING, STEALING OR DESTROYING CITIES. WHAT A TRUE STATEMENT !!!
This world is filled with demons. So much wickedness in the country. It’s quite disheartening
I have so much admiration for commentators on the right like Michael who are refusing to back down or stop doing public appearances and debates, but please stay safe. We can't lose anyone else. I'm praying for Erika, the children and Charlie's family, but also the safety of everyone else moving forward.

the “social media is cancer” spiel is absolutely imperative in addressing this situation’s severity. starting in my early teens, i saw many things I shouldn’t have when i never intended to. it’s quite sickening how desensitized these platforms have become.
Stay safe Michael. Thank you for being a true Patriot.🇺🇲🙏🏼❤️
I am Filipino and reside in the Philippines, and I deeply mourn the passing of such a kind and extraordinary individual. This is not a loss felt only by conservative Americans, but by countless people around the world whose lives were touched by Charlie’s work. Even through his online presence and podcasts, he conveyed a spirit of Truth and brotherhood that resonated across borders. May he rest in peace. Charlie will be remembered and cherished, both here and beyond.
I didn't listen to Charlie but when I found out he was shot, it hit me, when I found out he officially died. It broke me, a spiritual ripple was felt. I actually cried, a brother in Christ has been killed. I've read people's comments about him and it is very sad. God have mercy! So many hardened hearts.
